There's power in numbers!

Hello
Born and raised in the Little Rock area, Ayhana Austin developed a passion for financial empowerment early in life. After graduating from eStem Public Charter School in 2019, she pursued higher education at Florida A&M University, where she earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in December 2023.

While earning her degree at Florida A&M University, Ayhana faced several academic challenges but managed to graduate magna cum laude. Throughout her college years, she actively contributed to campus life by holding treasury positions for two organizations that supported military students and Caribbean students, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for non-traditional students. Additionally, she tutored subjects ranging from developmental math to calculus II and general accounting, further solidifying her commitment to education and financial literacy.
Ayhana’s entrepreneurial journey began in an unexpected and challenging way. In February 2020, she discovered she was pregnant, and shortly after, the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to move back home. At the time, she was earning roughly $400 every two weeks, and the situation seemed uncertain. At just 19 years old, Ayhana was a college student preparing financially for motherhood. Determined to provide a better future for herself, her partner, and their baby, Ayhana developed a financial plan. The plan included separate checking and savings accounts for herself and her partner, as well as a joint savings account with a clear monetary goal. With her partner earning the majority of their income, they relied on the success of their strategy and it paid off. After tragically losing her son James to stillbirth on September 25, 2020, she transformed her grief into purpose. This experience inspired Ayhana to create a business that would help others navigate similar financial struggles. In his honor, she launched 925 Financial, named after the date that marked both her deepest loss and the birth of her life’s work.

Today, Ayhana continues to provide workshops for underserved communities, university students, and youth, offering them the tools and resources they need to improve their financial health. Through her work with 925 Financial, she is dedicated to creating a future where financial stability and growth are accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. 925 Financial is more than a business, it’s a movement rooted in purpose, resilience, and financial empowerment.
Since then, 925 Financial has become a resource for low to middle income individuals, families, and small businesses. With over 90% of its services priced at $150 or less every 3 to 6 months, well below industry norms of $200 - $400 per hour, the firm breaks down financial barriers for those often excluded from traditional financial systems. While budgeting tools, custom planning services, and digital resources anchor the company’s offerings, it’s the Financial Literacy for Youth (F.L.Y.) Program that truly sets 925 Financial apart. F.L.Y. Program is a copywritten 7-week financial literacy curriculum designed for students in grades K–8. It includes engaging content presentations, a teacher’s guide, student workbook, pre- and post-assessments, and more aligned with national education standards. By offering schools, churches, and youth organizations a ready-to-use toolkit, F.L.Y. equips the next generation with essential money skills in an age-appropriate and impactful format.
